I've just finished a 12 hour "conference" day so am looking forward to a glass of wine and catching an episode of "Big Bang Theory". Nothing like a little "Sheldon" to put things in perspective.
I actually enjoy this conference week--it's fun to chat with the parents, see some co-workers that I don't always have a chance to talk with, and the Wednesday comp day is especially nice as it helps me get into relaxation mode for a day of feasting with the family on Thanksgiving.
A nice surprise, when I got home tonight, was that Shannon posted a new entry on her blog. It's so fun to hear about life in Ireland. I know she's going to have a hard time leaving the country and her new friends but I'm confident she'll return there many times--hopefully with Tim and I, at least once! We'll be excited to have her home on December 19th. We're also looking forward to Ryan's first Advent Vespers concert as a member of the Augsburg Choir. It should be fabulous!
